The Ghost Fleet is an artist book inspired by the sunken battle ships at the Bikini Atoll, Marshall Island. The shipwrecks at the bottom of the Bikini Atoll are reminders of Operation Crossroads, the world first nuclear effect test conducted by the United States in 1946. The purpose of the operation was to investigate the effect of atomic bombs on naval warships. After World War Two, these radioactive ships are left isolated and forgotten around the depopulated land. They've become ghost fleet that once were the monuments of the nuclear age.
